AlertID Lowers Crime by Staggering 32%

October 12, 2011 - After less than one year in service, the free Alert I.D. program is being credited with helping to lower Washoe County's crime rate by a staggering 32 percent. "When people are aware, and they have information, they can do great things," said Sheriff Mike Haley.
